Couple possibilities: Worst case scenario is liver disease. Can be next worse is a blood disorder where the blood cells are fragile and breaking apart. Blood test can be done to look for these. Breast feeding jaundice can also cause this which is benign and is thought be perhaps be related to a hormone in your milk if you are bottle feeding, then this is not a possibility. See your md
