Probably not, but: By age, unless there is some family or ethnic history( eg. You were not born and raised in wi), highly improbable. But you should have it evaluated. A barium swallow or esophagoscopy will help diagnose this condition. Talk to your primary care or a gastroenterologist.

Not likely: You should certainly see a doctor about this problem. Most likely there is a benign cause that could be found. And there is certainly a treatment that could be undertaken which would make your symptoms much better or completely resolve. You should start out by seeing an internist who then may refer you to a gastroenterlogist.

Unlikely: Very unlikely at your age. You should however have an endoscopy to see what is causing this.

Very doubtful: Esophageal cancer is most common in older patients and/or patients who have chronic reflux over many years. People can have esophageal spasms without cause and this may be what you are feeling. A barium swallow (x-ray) will show whether there is any blockage of the esophagus.

No, but...: There are several causes of trouble swallowing (or dysphagia). Esophageal cancer is a very rare cause especially in young people. But, dysphagia definitely warrants evaluation at least by your primary care physician and probably by a gastroenterologist. You may need a special x-ray called a barium swallow or an endoscopy to investigate the cause.
