No not real period: Some women after conceiving will have less than usual bleeding around the time of the missed period. This bleeding is called implantation bleeding and can occur as the embryo is growing into the lining of the uterus. This bleeding isn't a true period, though sometimes people will think it is, and that can be confusing.
