Yes to both.: Irregular menstrual vaginal bleeding should be easily distinguishable from an early pregnancy with threatened abortion by a home urine pregnancy test. Irregular menses decrease fertility but you can still get pregnant if unprotected vaginal intercourse takes place. Please take Folic Acid 1 mg daily and consult with your gynecologist. Best of luck!
