Baby acne: Infant skin is often a mess in the first months. While it was well moisturized in the womb, birth brings a drying environment & exposure to soaps & irritants. Hormones that help maintain pregnancy trigger a transient baby acne in most. It starts by 2-4 wks & increases to peak before 2 mo & gradually fades.Keep it clean & it will improve when ready. Creams & lotions may worsen the problem.
