Allergy: Allergiyes to pets are common. Generally, your body and eye won't become tolerant. As always avoiding the thing that causes the allergy is best. However, if mild, your ophthalmologist might be successful in prescribing eye drops to control the symptoms.

See eye doc: There are allergy drops that are prescription and very safe that your eye doctor can prescribe. I would see an allergist to make sure it is the dog and then consider allergy shots to densensitize. Don't sleep with the dog. Get air purifier. Change furnace filters often.
