Underneath my son's tongue was so swollen it looked like he had another tongue and his eyes were swollen. has happened before and within a minute of playing on indoor playground. what could it be?

Allergy?: Ask him what he was doing, eating, how long did it last? Recurred how often? The next time he may stop breathing. Combo of tongue and eyes is a concern......Seek attention soon.

Allergy reaction: He is reacting to something! quickly give him antihistamine, and shoot him with an Epipen (epinephrine) if you have one. This swelling in the mough can be airway-threatening! try to identify what he is reacting to and avoid it in the future! if his condition worsens and he has trouble breathing, then call 911, because that would be an emergency for which you would want immediate treatment!

Allergic reaction: He is coming in contact with a substance in the environment that he is allergic to. It could be something like carpet cleaner, etc. Carefully evaluate the indoor playground for chemicals, disinfectants, etc. I w old not let hom play in this environment until you get some answers and eliminate the allergen.
