A member asked:

How long after taking antibiotic keflex until my birth control is effective?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Immidiately: Although certain antibiotics interact with birth control pills to render them less effective, Keflex is not really among those notorious for doing so. In addition, it does not really hang around too long so that once you stopped taking them, within 24 hours, it is already out of your system.
