A member asked:

I took a hot shower and left my house with out a jacket and it was very cold and the next day i have a pain in my chest it hurts when i breath?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Pleuritic: Pain upon breathing implies inflammation in the chest wall or lining of the lungs (things that move when you breathe). Could occur with a cold (ex bronchitis), asthma, or chest wall musculoskeletal pain. If symptoms get worse or don't respond to over the counter antiinflammatories like ibuprofen, then see a doctor to get chest exam/possibly xr. If short of breath or fast hr, go to er.
