A member asked:

I feel a pressure or discomfort on my sternum that goes up to my throat. it gets more intense the deeper i breathe in. i have no pain swallowing.

Sternal Pressure: Without further information, including your age, diet, previous medical history, meds you are taking, etc., it is difficult to pinpoint the problem. Your symptoms could point to an upper GI issue, anxiety, or even a cardio-pulmonary problem. I suggest making an appointment with a gastroenterologist to undergo a thorough evaluation and appropriate studies to identify the underlying cause.
