Buproprion: Bupropion sr and wellbutrin (bupropion) xl are two different products with the same active antidepressant drug (buproprion) but they differ in the delivery rate in our system: the sr (slow release) and the xl (extra long). In my clinical experience, they are very similar, and the difference in side effect is the sleeplessness that could result from taking the xl formulation.
