Medical school: is an extremely demanding stressful program. With long hours, close supervision, frequent exams. Depression can leave you exhausted and with limited energy to cope with life's demands. If you want to go to medical school, get in psychotherapy, consider medication and have your depression under the best possible control. Having a therapist to talk to while in school may make it manageable and safe.
