Ribs or Lung?: Pain when you take a deep breath seems to indicate that when your rib cage expands this is painful...This points towards a problem in the rib cage or pulmonary system although the possibilities can be many. If this is minor it can just be a strain of a rib cage muscle but if significant, see your doctor.
