Is there an advantage to injecting metatrexate. can you still drink alcohol occassionally?

Yes: You will get differing opinions but i tell my patients that occasional small amounts of alcohol are ok. I tell them 3-4 drinks a week are reasonable. Methotrexate by injection has some modest advantage over the oral form.
