Not control growth: Neurofibromatosis can't be cured, but doctors monitor patient for complications and treats symptoms. A team of doctors trained in many areas often involved treatment of neurofibromatosis. Mainly supportive care with sometimes removal by surgery of troublesome lesions. Unfortunately growths cannot be controlled.
