Eval: Treatment depends on the cause. There is no "one size fits all" recommendation for abdominal pain. If chronic, it should be assessed. If abdominal pain is severe, it should be urgently evaluated.

See a doctor, please: Sharp pain lower or upper left side? Flank pain? Vomiting, diarrhea, fever, pregnant? If she is in pain please take her to the doctor or hospital right away. This could be so many different things that it isn't possible to make a diagnosis within this forum.

Anything: Most people think their whole abdomen is their stomach, but the stomach is in the upper middle or upper left of the abdomen. If your lower abdomen hurts, that could be your skin, muscles, bladder, uterus, or intestines. If the upper part of your abdomen hurts, it could be acid reflux, pancreatitis, or other problems. See a doctor for an assessment.

Need evaluation: The causes include diseases in your stomach, colon, kidney, skin, muscle, ribs. Gas is possible so take gas medicine should help. The question is why gas? Is there an obstruction after the stomach. An exam, and answering more questions and maybe a ct scan of that area would help identify what it is definitively. I will you all the best!
