Not clear: There have been various studies, none conclusive, that link acne to several types of foods including foods with high glycemic index that raise blood sugar, dairy foods, particularly those with hormones, gluten, and saturated fats. As the evidence is unclear, it is best to eat a healthy diet without dairy (get calcium from other sources), limit saturated fats and gluten, and avoid simple carbs.
