Can plica come back after having plica resection 1 year ago? i am still having a lot of pain where the plica was removed?

Usually not: A plica seen and removed during an arthroscopy of the knee usually does not come back since it is a congenital problem (ie born with it). It can cause chondromalacia (softening of the cartilage) where it rubbed against the femoral condyle. See your surgeon for answers he/she saw inside your knee and knows the situation best.
