Yes: Aldosterone is a hormone that leads to incresaed sodium reabsorption and loss of potassium so if the level if high for long enough time it classically causes high blood pressure, high sodium, low potassium and loss of acid in the kidneys.

Aldsoterone actions: Aldosterone (a) is the major mineralocorticoid hormone secreted by the adrenal cortex. It promotes the retention of sodium and the secondary retention of water. Large excesses can cause plasma volume expansion, edema, and hypertension. As a is used to conserve water, dehydration would not be caused by it. Dehydration occurs when water is lost in excess of salt. A conserves water and sodium.
