No: Some babies that are the quietest become the toughest infants/children. Just give care and love and see what unfolds. Proper discipline and guidance always helps the cause.

Infant temperament: Was studied extensively by dr. William carey, & are classified as easy, difficult & slow-to-warm-up. As stated, they aren't necessarily predictive. Learn to read & respect your baby's not only for hunger, sleep & discomfort, but also for the amount of stimulation baby can tolerate. Teachable moments can occur when baby is in a quiet, alert state. Floor time with baby prone is good for play.
