Can glumetza be taken on an empty stomach?

Possibly, but: Generally recommended to be taken with evening meal. Although low blood sugar levels r uncommon with metformin, can occur with strenuous activity or insufficient food intake or if being taken with other diabetes meds that r more often associated w/ hypoglycemia.
