EEG results: An eeg is a useful test in many cases but not 100% accurate at predicting or explaining a problem. You can have an abnormal eeg & never have a problem or a totally normal study & still have seizures. There are also subtle differences in the expected pattern at various ages. I have most of the eeg's read by someone who specializes in child studies as they can spot the normal variations better.
