Depends on issue: If you have recently had a heart attack or heart event such as an angioplasty, or if you have lung disease, there is a class of specialist known as cardiac (heart) or pulmonary (lung) rehab who are especially trained in improving exercise tolerance in people with diseases in those areas. Your pcp may be able to specifically direct you to exercise physiologists or physiatrists who can also help.
