Depends: Growth hormone should only be given to people with growth hormone deficiency. It is usually diagnosed in children who are not growing properly. Growth hormone deficiency is rare in adults, usually as a result of pituitary surgery. Unfortunately, there are many alternative doctors who are giving growth hormone to adults for not approved reasons, with no clinical studies to support that its safe.
