Yes: A woman can still have spotting even if an ectopic did not rupture. This is because the uterine lining is under hormonal stimulation and over time this can result in some degree of vaginal bleeding.

Absolutely: If you have or suspect you have an ectopic pregnancy you should immediately contact your gyn. You can definitely bleed prior to an ectopic pregnancy rupturing. Matter of fact, that is one of the most common symptoms and is often mistaken for a miscarriage.
