Alkaline water ?: For gastritis you may need proton pump inhibitors, like omeprazole, prelosec, Prevacid or h-2 receptor antagonists like tagamet and zantac (ranitidine). Ofcourse diet is essential , avoid aspirin, advil, Motrin and alcohol.
