Bump: See your doctor to be sure what it is. There are many different possibilities. Common ones include cyst, lipoma, lymph node, dermatofibroma. There are many more uncommon ones including those of an infectious etiology. A biopsy might be needed if your doctor is unsure. From your description a dermatofibroma seems most likely.
