A member asked:

My periods are lasting 15 days and are coming every few months. tests i've had done all come back normal. what could be wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hormones off: When the periods come every few months the likeliest cause is that you are either not ovulating at all or ovulating infrequently. Fibroids, polyps and abnormal cells in the uterine lining are less likely. There are a number of causes of not ovulating. Check with your doctor.
