Exercise!: Congratulations on quitting! it is, by far, the best thing you can do to help your lungs. There isn't really much else you can do to help your lungs heal any better but certainly regular cardiovascular/aerobic exercise can benefit you in so many ways, healthier lungs are just the beginning! good luck!

Congrats!: Excellent idea! best health decision you can make. After 15 years of smoking your lungs still have a good chance of doing well, depending on your makeup. Exercise can help further as it causes dilation of airways and optimizes oxygen use. Start with just walking as your lungs clear, and progress as you improve.

Exercise.: While you may currently have less lung tissue than you had before you started smoking (emphysema), regular cardiovascular exercise going forward may help your remaining lung tissue to function more efficiently.
