Atria quivering...: The atria are the chambers of the heart that pump the blood into the ventricles of the heart. If the atria are not contracting correctly, they fibrillate. The atria are quivering as opposed to contracting in an organized fashion. There are treatment for this and it can be diagnosed with an ekg.
