Creatine: Creatine provides energy for short, intense muscle movement. Studies have shown it improves weightlifting performance and can speed muscle building. It must be taken as a loading dose of 25 grams per day for a week, then 5 grams per day, about an hour before working out. Do not use creatine if you have kidney problems. Use the cheapest form available without other additives.
