Canker sore?: It's impossible to know what's going on without actually seeing you in person. Having said that, you might have an apthous ulcer that is under your tongue or far back where it is not easily seen. There are many other possibilities. It's best to see a dentist to be sure. You can wait and see if it goes away within a few days, or 10 at most. Otherwise you will have to see a dentist.

Injury?: Please first rule out any causes such as trauma, injury or burn like biting on it..... If the pain continues or gets worse must go see a dentist.
