Can be normal: Assuming you are talking about bernard-soulier syndrome which is a genetic cause of low platelet count. Platelets are sticky and help us clot if cut. Bss is discovered when someone has easy bruising, prolonged nosebleeds or periods, or dangerous bleeding after a surgery. Bss, once diagnosed can be managed and life expectancy often normal with care. Avoid traumas, dangerous medicines--aspirin etc.
