Yes: Typhoid fever, is caused by a bacterial disease, transmitted by the ingestion of food or water contaminated with the bacterium salmonella some symptoms of typhoid include fatigue, headache, backache, diarrhea, and loss of appetite. Fever lasts about 10-14 days. Body temperature typically rises in the evening and drops in the morning.
