Yes: Yes, it is normal. If your ultrasounds for your prenatal care has been ok, and you continue to feel your baby move you should have nothing to worry about. Quite frequently when you lay on your back at a later stage in pregnancy you get short of breath. This is b/c of compression of the baby on your vena cava. Laying on your side, expecially your left is the most comfortable usually.
