For general health, burn the extra calories that you consume, do not drink pop, and do not smoke. Tar and niconite increase antibodies that agravate arthritis, particularly rheumatoid.

Not the focus: Good dietary habits are always encouraged but there is no specific RA diet. The key is not to smoke. Smoking worsens rheumatoid arthritis and increases the chance of internal organ damage.
