A member asked:

Is it safe to take ritalin (methylphenidate) and lithium together?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No Reported Problems: There are no reported interactions between lithium and Ritalin (generic methylphenidate). So in theory they can be taken safely together. When taking prescription medications, make sure each of your physicians is aware of all of your medications including dosage. Report to your doctor any unexpected side effects when combining any medications.
