Maybe none: The units and normal ranges for free t-3 vary widely. In addition, the free t-3 is never used by itself to diagnose a thyroid disorder. It is only even minimally helpful when it is in combination with more useful and conventional thyroid tests like the free-4 and tsh. Free t-3 measures free t-3 in the blood, but what's really important is the t-3 level in the cells, which the test can't measure.
