Anti-viral: Other than letting nature take it's course, a course of antivirals may shorten the infection and lesions by a day or so. Talk to your doctor to see if they agree.

I wish: It clears up on its own. You have to treat the symptoms only and watch for signs of infection or other complication. Vaccination helps prevent the infection.

Chickenpox: Recovery usually occurs without treatment. Full recovery usually takes 7 to10 days after the first symptoms of Chickenpox appear. Some may take a couple of weeks to recover. If there are serious complications, those may require medical intervention.
