A member asked:

Do bruises usually grow drastically in a short amount of time?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, not usually.: They can but usually don't. A bruise occurs due to a specific injury, however, minor or from a tendency to bleed under the skin, due to a number of reasons including some meds ( like Aspirin and the blood thinners). A person on blood thinners sustaining an injury can cause a bruise which may grow drastically.
