Make up: Make up is the quickest way to even tone- would recommend dermablend if it's really bad. Lasers, hydroquinones, and other bleaching agents can help. Dr. Joel cohen in denver is near you & would be able to assist, as could dr. Cathy carretero.

Depend on skin color: Without knowing your complexion or skin tone, this would be tricky to answer. Fortunately, most makeup counters in malls have makeup artists who can make suggestions and apply the makeup for you to test out how you like it before making a financial commitment.

I'm african american how do I even my skin tone?

Only with make-up: Skin that has color, regardless of ethnic/racial group, is naturally uneven from the start. In a new baby, the uneven skin tones are symmetrical (the left half of the body matches the right half) with subtle transitions, so a baby's skin looks very nice. In the real world, spotty color changes occur due to sunlight, dryness, rashes, cuts, scrapes, pregnancy, etc... Change can be darker or lighter.

Avoid the sun: Poor skin tone can result from many causes. If you have lost a significant amount of weight there may result in quite alot of skin and surgery may be the only way to improve it. As far as wrinkles and loose facial skin there are several options dpending the amount of loose skin and what your goals are.Skin care with anti=oxidant and vit a/vit c/ estogen cream. Dermabrasion, chemical/laser peels.
