A member asked:

Is there surgery that can increase flexibility and reduce pain from abnormal inflexibility?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not really: However, for certain conditions like cerebral palsy, injection of Botox can temporarily relieve spasms in muscles that are pathologically tight. Tendon lengthening can be done in certain situations. It is generally done for isolated muscle contractures not for generalized inflexibility.
