See a doctor: Numbness after a traumatic injury that persists should be evaluated by a doctor.

Talk to MD: This could be simply swelling in the joint at the sight of the injury pressing on the nerves. The best course is to see a physician to make sure that there is no permanent damage to the nerves. Go to an urgent care center or an orthopedic surgeon.
