Cut finger: When you cut yourself, the cut went very deep affected the movement and activity and range of one of the tendons. You need to see a hand surgeon as soon as possible!

Trigger finger?: What you are describing sounds like it could be a trigger finger. However, with a history of a recent laceration, you should be evaluated by a specialist to make sure there is not a tendon injury.
