CAFFEINE: Products that are high in caffeine help adhd. Black coffee would be the best one. There is caffeine in soda and dark chocolate as well but do you need the sugar and the calories? Tea is also caffeine containing- consider tea as an option as well.

Doesn't matter: There is no particular diet that will offer anything to an ADHD patient. To take caffeine in a quantity that would help would have the kid running to the bathroom every hour to pee. The caffeine is just a natural drug anyway.

It's your choice: Despite 40 years of looking, the scientific community is unimpressed with the "pop" diets put forward to treat ADHD. I have some adult colleagues with this illness -- all take medications and all believe that these render them much more in control of themselves and able to work effectively. I hope you will make an informed choice, and best wishes.
