Some thoughts: How to stop dizziness depends on the cause. If you are dehydrated - then it would be important to hydrate well with water. If you get dizzy after going from lying to sitting or standing, then it would be important to take your time and do this slowly. If this is a chronic problem - it warrants medical evaluation. Take care.

Call Dr.: You may have inner ear congestion efecting your balance center/inner ear. Medications such as Antivert (meclizine) may be of benefit. If that does not work, you should be evaluated for other causes and treatments. Best wishes.

You need a diagnosis: There are many causes of dizziness, and you really do need to speak to someone, get a Concierge consult, or see a physician to find the cause of the dizziness in order to address it. Especially if you have passed out! Which appears under your complaint but isn't actually in it. Please do get a diagnosis. Here's an excellent site FYI: http://www.dizziness-and-balance.com/index.html Good luck!
