Not normal: This symptom is a little confusing, it doesn't immediately suggest a cause. It could be pain from a hernia, or possibly fibroids (large ones) on the uterus can cause pain that could radiate to the vagina as well as lower abdomen. Endometriosis would be a possibility - but that wouldn't show up as a new type of pain in someone who is 48 years old. Imaging and exam would be helpful.
