A member asked:

I am 2 months and 1 week pregnant and having occasional light cramping. could this be a sign of an etopic pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Until ultrasound establishes the pregnancy is inside the uterus, any abdominal or pelvic pain could be a sign of an ectopic pregnancy. See your md as soon as possible to confirm that the pregnancy is inside the uterus..At 9 weeks, the ultrasound should definitely be able to confirm a pregnancy inside the uterus.. .Good luck !
