Does this sound like a corn? the bottom of my right heel is very painful to step on (sometimes). it has a small white patch in the center of it that feels very dry.

Heel lesion: This could be something like a corn called a porokeratosis. It could also be a wart. I recommend having a podiatrist debride the lesion so he or she can tell you what it is and recommend how to treat it.

No: Corns do not occur on the heel. You may have a wart or what is known as an ipk.
