What happens when your heart completely stops?

Depends: If heart skips a beat, no danger, but if it stops completely blood will not circulate and organs will be deprived from oxygen and nutrients and person could die if not resuscitated.

See below: Technically, you are dead. If your heart stops, hopefully it comes back or someone (like a doctor or medical team) is there to attempt to revive you. If the heart doesn't start beating again, you are dead. If it takes some time (at least 3-5 minutes) to resume a normal, perfusing rhythm, you risk permanent brain damage.
